"Earth Ring" Ceremony

Please come and celebrate with us as our graduands and graduates take this important transitional step from student to practicing professional.

The Earth Ring 'obligates' those seeking a career as Professional Geologist/Geoscientist to conduct themselves with integrity, honesty and a high level of commitment to their area of practice.

A reception will follow after the ceremony.

Past "Earth Ring" Ceremony:

* * * April 27, 2018: 17 undergraduate students and 1 master student each gave an oath, signed certificate, and were presented a ring in the witness of their family members, Geology Faculty Members, Lab Instructors, Staff, honored Guests from Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists (APEGS), and the public. The ceremony was organized in UofR Multipurpose Room.
